Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
RunThrough USA wants every runner, spectator and volunteer — including people with disabilities — to be able to use this website. Accessibility is an ongoing process for us, not a guarantee of perfection, and we keep improving.
The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which addresses visual, hearing, motor and cognitive impairments.
Conformance status
This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA: the core journeys work with assistive technologies, while some content gaps remain.
What already works well:
- Clear page landmarks and a skip-to-content link.
- Visible keyboard focus and a fully keyboard-operable navigation.
- Labelled forms with clear error messages.
- Animations respect your “reduce motion” preference.
- Video that only plays when you press play.
Known limitations:
- Third-party checkout, timing and results widgets are outside our control.
- Embedded Strava maps and YouTube videos follow those providers’ accessibility.
- Some controls on very small screens may fall below the 44×44px target size.
Race day
Wheelchair users are welcome in our event villages and on many courses. Some routes include inclines and bridges; every event page describes the terrain so you can decide what suits you, and the team is happy to advise.
Report a problem
If anything on this site is hard to use, email info@runthroughusa.com with “Accessibility” in the subject line. To help us fix it quickly, include the page address, what you were trying to do and the browser or assistive technology you were using. We aim to acknowledge reports within two working days and respond in full within ten.
