Who we are

RunThrough USA organises running events across the United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. RunThrough USA is part of RunThrough, one of the world’s largest running events organisers.

Information we collect

• Race entries: name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, emergency contact and any medical details you choose to share, collected by our entry partner Let’s Do This when you register.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your name and email address.
• Payments: processed by our third-party payment providers. We never see or store your full card details.
• Website usage: pages visited, device and browser information, collected only with your consent through analytics cookies.
• Race day: your bib number, chip-timed results and photographs taken on the course.

How we use it

• To process your entry and deliver the event you signed up for.
• To send you race information before, during and after the event.
• To publish results and race photographs.
• To send marketing about future events, only where you have opted in.
• To improve our website and events.
• To meet our legal and safety obligations.

Who we share it with

We share information only where it is needed to deliver the event: entry and timing platforms, email and payment providers, and medical and safety partners on race day. We do not sell your personal data.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information. Marketing cookies (the Meta Pixel) may count as “sharing” under some US state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time using the “Cookie preferences” or “Do Not Sell or Share” links in the footer, and we honour Global Privacy Control browser signals automatically.

How long we keep it

• Entry data: up to seven years, to meet legal and insurance requirements.
• Marketing contacts: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data: a maximum of 26 months.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email info@runthroughusa.com and we will respond within 30 days.
